| Overall, This course will expose you to some works which are intellectually stimulating, and others which challenge your sensibilities, and yet others which aesthetically repel or draw you. It's up to you to respond. Although covering American literature and Philosophy comprehensively is beyond the scope of this course, we will examine some key authors, works, and ideas. This course is also designed to expose you to American literature with the broadest sense of inclusiveness of Minority voices, not historically covered in American literature surveys. | ||
