Welcome to the Kettering University (B-Section) Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers website. The purpose of this website is to keep the membership informed on the latest news and events our chapter is participating in. This year NSBE’s National Directives focus is to R.I.S.E, this stands for Retention, International development, Scholastic Achievement and Economic Empowerment. Of these four focal points, our chapter is focusing on Retention and Scholastic Achievement at Kettering University. Our goals is to continue to expose all minority students to the benefits of becoming apart of NSBE. From the scholarship opportunities to the extended network of employers, NSBE is crucial for any student at Kettering University. We are an organization that is driven by our mission statement and has repeatedly transformed our mission into accomplishments. Every month we make massive efforts to help incorporate Kettering University and Flint. Our chapter has completed various community service projects at the Children’s Museum, My Brother’s Keeper of Genesee County Men’s Shelter, Stepping Stone Falls, etc. Furthermore, the executive board has prepared an abundance of events and programs that are guaranteed to increase member participation and interaction. We look forward to having you become apart of our chapter. If you would like more information about our chapter you can send an email to nsbeb.president@yahoo.com. We look forward to hearing from you! |
