Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse

Built: 1892

At the northern most tip of Michigan's lower peninsula at Mackinaw City.
At the Straits of Mackinac separating Lake Michigan and Lake Huron.

Looking north along the 5 mile long Mackinac Bridge.



The 4-lane Mackinac Bridge, the "Mighty Mack", spans the Mackinac Straights 
and connects Michigan's upper and
lower peninsulas. It is roughly the dividing line separating Lake
Michigan on the west and Lake Huron on the east.
