The Solid Oxide Fuel Cell Research Lab has the following capabilities:

  1. Multi single-cell test station
  2. SOFC Test station capable of testing from a few Watts up to 12 kW stacks
  3. Current interruption and Impedance Spectroscopy
  4. Multiple gases capability N2, H2, H2O, CO, CO2, CH4 (reformate mix)
  5. Air and O2
  6. Hydrogen generator
  7. Modeling: COMSOL, Unigraphics, MATHLAB, Impedance Spectroscopy, Fluent, STAR-CCM+
  8. Post-doctoral fellows and students (undergrad and grad)
