Every year, Alpha Phi sponsors a Cardiac Care
Month to raise public awareness about cardiovascular disease—the #1 killer
of women in North America. Collegiate and alumnae chapters nationwide hold
events to help their communities learn more about the causes, prevention
and treatment of heart disease. National Wear Red Day is a day when
Americans nationwide wear red to show their support for women's heart disease
awareness. This year National Wear Red Day is

Care week Wrap-up - 11:20am - 1:30pm In the past, Alpha Phi
volunteered at the Renaissance Festival helping other organizations
raise money. Our
girls also served as line officials for the Teddy Bear Trot in the CRIM
Festival of Races.

This year Iota Epsilon is hosting our annual cardiac care awareness
fundraiser during 5th week Winter 2009.
